The Runaway Dolls

The Runaway Dolls by Ann Martin, Laura Godwin, and Brian Selznick is a heart warming fiction story which takes place in a modern setting in any typical American town. Even though the suggested age range is 8 to 12, this story is timeless, something all ages will enjoy.

This is the third book in The Doll People Trilogy, following the lives of Annabelle Doll and Tiffany Funcraft. The Doll family has often wondered why Baby Betsy is so much bigger than them, but they never minded - not until a mysterious package arrives at the Palmers' house carrying a small doll, Tilly May, who looks remarkably  like Annabelle. Could this be Annabelle's long lost sister? Will Tilly May find a home?

This story is full of fun antics, mystery, new friends, and an unexpected turn. I would recommend reading the other two books before this one, but you can choose your own order. I would most definitely recommend this book to anyone.
