The Story of Peace

The Story of Peace by Miriam Ezeh is an inspiring story of love in time of war, hope in dark times, and finding God's peace. This historical fiction story is set in Africa at a time when the Ses, a hostile warring tribe, is threatening attack, and many are afraid. Peace is not afraid; she knows that whatever happens, God will protect her. But can she convince her brother to have the same kind of trust?

Peace wants to be married but she has no prospects, and she couldn't get married anyway because she must take care of her brother, Lawrence. But then she meets John, a young doctor who is the nephew of two dear friends. Love soon blossoms, seemingly only to be crushed. Lawrence is determined to fight the Ses, which worries Peace, and then when the Ses attack, the man she loves must leave the country. With all hope gone and war growing near, will Peace trust God?

This was an excellent book and a worthwhile read. It is full of drama and will keep you on the edge of your seat with anticipation. I have not read any other book by Miriam Ezeh but if they are anything like The Story of Peace they will be good. I will recommend this book to others of any age as an excellent Christian romance and drama. I hope you will read it.
