This book starts when Clark and Marty Davis are on their way home from visiting their oldest Daughter, Missie, and her family, who live out west. Immediately as soon as they pull into the station, they realize that many things are different. Many of their family will soon be moving away or getting married, but what is behind Nandry's eyes and why is Marty so constantly worn out?
Although Janette Oke's other books might be too much for younger children, I would not put an age limit on this book because it's not very intense. I like this book because, like all her other books, it focuses on God.
